Helloooo readers! How are you? Feeling great in this Ramadhan month? How's your Eid preparation so far? Good? Well today, I would like to share with you guys on how to make kek batik. From what i observed past few weeks ago, my friends, who actually my roomates, every time she went to the bazaar ramadhan, she never failed to buy the kek batik. From that, i noticed that every stall are selling their homemade kek batik. This dessert is quite famous actually and most of the people loves eating them as it taste sweet and chocolaty. I googled this recipe and it is from Mat Gebu. For bloggers, I'm sure you know who Mat Gebu is right? He is a well known blogger that can cook and a fan of antique stuff. So, let's get started!
So here we go :-
1. For this recipe, we need 250g of Marie biscuits (break them into 4), 125g of margarine, 2 grade A's egg, 3/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup of Milo, 11/2 full tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of water, and 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
2. Mix all the ingredients (except for the biscuits and margarine) in a bowl or any container, stir with a whisk until it is well blend, then pour it into a pan, add the margarine in a small fires. Stir constantly until it started to thick. Add the biscuits, mix well until all the biscuits coated with the mixture. Turn off the fire. Pour it in a container which was covered with a cling wrap, press the dough until it is fully packed.
3. Wrap it in a cling wrapper and wait until the hot steam gone and lastly put in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
4. And now, you're ready to serve them and taste your dessert.
